Los Angeles Red Light Cameras To Shut Off
It's lights out for red-light cameras.
The nation's second-largest city decided Wednesday to shut down its traffic enforcement cameras because the program is losing $1.5 million a year. There also were kids shoes questions about whether the tactic actually saves lives.
With a 13-0 vote, the City Council voted to stop issuing photo traffic enforcement tickets as of midnight Sunday, when a contract with an Arizona-based contractor expires.

Postal Service Targets The Bronx: 17 Stations Could Be Closed Under 'Expanded Access' Study

Wu-Tang Clan's new album, Legendary Weapons, has many wondering if it's only an album in name. For one, the full clan isn't here. Arrests Not Likely To Slow Hacker Group Anonymous, Experts Say
The arrests of 14 suspected members of the hacker group Anonymous on Tuesday could help authorities make inroads in the shadowy hacker collective,Levis 501 Jeans but don't expect the group's high-profile cyber attacks to end anytime soon, experts say.

"Some people surely will get scared off," Coleman said. "Others will feel more emboldened to fight the fight."
